Erdogan Asserts Palestinian Patience Will Lead to Victory and Peace

Baghdad: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan affirmed that the patience of the oppressed in Palestine will culminate in victory, and freedom and peace will prevail. In a speech delivered today at an event organized by the ruling Justice and Development Party entitled "A Strong Turkey for Humanity," Erdogan stated, "The Palestinian people, whose lives and land have been stolen, will live in safety in their homeland, and no dirty, bloody, or cunning plan will be able to stop this right."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan saluted his Palestinian brothers and sisters, recognizing the struggle of the Palestinian people. He recalled the suffering they have endured for decades, including the loss of relatives and children and the destruction of their homes. Erdogan drew a parallel between the anticipated victory for Palestine and the victory Syria experienced on January 8, 2024, with the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime.

Erdogan emphasized Turkey's support for the Palestinian cause, asserting that both the government and the people of Turkey stand firmly with the Palestinians in their struggle. He expressed confidence that an independent and sovereign Palestinian state will be established, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

He reiterated Turkey's commitment to supporting the oppressed, stating, "Wherever injustice exists, we stand with the oppressed and against the oppressor."
