Jeddah: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan departed Saudi Arabia on Friday afternoon, wrapping up a one-day working visit marked by the signing of a joint defense agreement with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan's visit included a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Mecca. The primary highlight of the visit was the signing ceremony of the "Mecca Joint Defense Agreement," involving Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan. Following the ceremony, Erdogan traveled by road to Jeddah.

Erdogan was seen off by the Deputy Governor of Mecca Province, Mishaal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Turkish Ambassador to Riyadh, Emrullah Isler. The visit underscores the strengthening of defense ties between the three nations, aiming to enhance regional security and cooperation.
