Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that “Israel will sooner or later pay the price for the genocide it has been committing for a year” in the Gaza Strip.
Erdogan said in a post on the X platform today, Monday: Israel brutally killed about 50,000 children and women in Gaza “who were alive 365 days ago.”
The Turkish President added: “Hospitals, places of worship for various religions and schools in Gaza no longer exist. .. And many journalists, representatives of civil society organizations and ambassadors of peace are no longer among us.”
He continued: “Death is not limited to women, children, infants and innocent civilians in Gaza, Palestine and currently in Lebanon, but at the same time the international system, humanity and institutions that were expected to serve humanity have also died.”
He explained that “what was killed in front of the world’s eyes live for a whole year is in fact all of humanity, and all of humanity’s hopes for the future.”
Erdogan pointed out that he sadly remembers
today the tens of thousands of people who have been killed by the Israeli government since October 7, 2023.
He said: “I offer my heartfelt condolences to my wounded brothers and sisters from Gaza, Palestine and Lebanon who have lost their spouses, children and families.”
The Turkish president stressed the need for the Israeli occupation and genocide policy that has been ongoing for many years to come to an end.
He added: “We must not forget that Israel will pay the price for the genocide it has been committing for a year sooner or later.”
He pointed out that just as Hitler was stopped by a joint alliance of humanity, Netanyahu and his criminal network will be stopped in the same way.
Erdogan said: “A world in which there is no accountability for the genocide committed in Gaza will not enjoy peace, stressing that Turkey will continue to stand against the Israeli government no matter the cost and will continue to call on the world to take this honorable stance.”
A year has passed since Israel, with Americ
an support, began a war of genocide in Gaza, which has so far resulted in more than 139,000 Palestinian deaths and injuries, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that has killed dozens of children and elderly people. Tel Aviv continues its war of genocide, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end it immediately, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of “genocide” and improve the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
