Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared that the region will not experience security and safety as long as the occupation of Palestine persists, and as long as Palestine continues to suffer and its lands are occupied.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan stressed this point during a press statement after a cabinet meeting held in Ankara. He stated, "We will work diligently and exert every effort, and by God willing, we will ensure that the path to lasting peace in the region is wide open." Erdogan highlighted Turkey's commitment to peace, justice, stability, development, and mutual benefit along its southern borders, extending from Iraq to Syria.

Erdogan reiterated Turkey's ongoing support for Palestinians, promising to continue aid "using all available resources, despite the various obstacles created by Israel." He noted the need to improve living conditions in Gaza, stating that transporting prefabricated houses from Turkey would provide a significant improvement on the ground.

Regarding the C-130 military transport plane crash on the Azerbaijani-Georgian border, Erdogan mentioned that data from investigation teams and the black box would help clarify the cause of the incident, which resulted in 20 fatalities. He assured that this information would be shared transparently with the public and the families affected.

In discussing Turkey's progress, Erdogan highlighted economic achievements, noting the country's rise to the seventh largest economy in Europe and the seventeenth largest in the world. He also pointed to increased per capita income and exports, and Turkey's leading role in defense industries, ranking among the top three countries in drone production.

Erdogan concluded by emphasizing the democratic and economic transformations under his leadership, stating that they have ended the dominance of a fascist mentality and one-party rule, thereby restoring power to the national will.
