Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani in Ankara on Thursday. The official reception ceremony for the Prime Minister took place at the Presidential Palace in Ankara.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the reception ceremony included the playing of the national anthems of both countries and a review of the honor guard.

The Prime Minister will hold bilateral talks with the Turkish President, head the Iraqi delegation to the meetings of the Iraqi-Turkish Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation, and preside over the signing of several memoranda of understanding with the Turkish side in various fields.
