Erdogan to Visit Azerbaijan for Discussions on Bilateral and International Relations


Baku: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan intends to travel to Azerbaijan tomorrow, Wednesday, to discuss bilateral relations and international developments with his counterpart, Ilham Aliyev. The Turkish Presidency’s Communications Directorate stated in a statement today on the “X” platform that the visit will include discussions with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on bilateral relations and regional and international developments.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan will also participate in the second trilateral summit between Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Pakistan, attended by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. As part of the visit, Erdogan, along with Aliyev and Sharif, will participate in the opening of the international airport in the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan.
