Erdogan Warns of High Price for Returning to Genocide Atmosphere in Gaza


Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has issued a stern warning regarding the potential consequences of a return to an atmosphere of genocide in Gaza, emphasizing that the repercussions would be severe. Erdogan commended the efforts of both Turkey and US President Donald Trump in facilitating the recent ceasefire agreement.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan, during a speech at a project inauguration ceremony in Rize, highlighted the significance of the ceasefire, describing it as a pathway to lasting peace in Gaza. He expressed joy at the happiness of the Palestinian people and the positive impact on the children of Gaza.



Erdogan emphasized Turkey’s commitment to ensuring calm and security in Gaza, stating that the country’s efforts would continue to support the implementation of the ceasefire agreement. He warned of the high cost of returning to previous conflicts and underscored the importance of maintaining peace.



The Turkish president called for peace in the region, particularly in Gaza, and urged the avoidance of any actions that might sabotage the current stability. He described the agreement as a significant move towards enduring peace, noting that the opportunity for peace must be seized.



Erdogan reiterated Turkey’s intensive efforts in brokering the ceasefire and called on the international community to uphold its responsibilities in ensuring the agreement’s success. He expressed hope that past violations by Israel would not recur, affirming Ankara’s role as a global advocate for justice and the oppressed.
