Brussels: A European agency has advised airline operators to avoid Iranian and Iraqi airspace. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) stated on Wednesday that airlines should refrain from operating flights in these regions due to ongoing tensions and the possibility of further military operations.
The advisory from EASA specifies that the recommendation is in place until August 31. This guidance comes in response to the current geopolitical climate, which has heightened concerns over the safety of flights passing through Iranian and Iraqi airspaces.
