Brussels: European Council President António Costa announced that EU leaders will meet in the coming days to coordinate their response to US President Donald Trump's threat to impose tariffs over Greenland. Costa, who will chair the EU summit, said his consultations with member states demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting Denmark and Greenland and a readiness to resist any form of coercion, while continuing to engage constructively with the United States. According to National Iraqi News Agency, a European official stated that Costa is considering holding the summit in Brussels next Thursday.
