Explosion Reported Near Police Station in Baniyas


Baniyas: An explosion occurred near a police station in the city of Baniyas, located in the Tartous Governorate on the western Syrian coast. The incident involved a sticky bomb, though it resulted in no casualties.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that the explosion was attributed to a bomb attached to a police car parked adjacent to the station. The explosion led to material damage but no injuries.



A security source in the governorate mentioned that security units have initiated investigations and are in the process of gathering evidence to identify and prosecute those responsible for the attack.
