Baghdad: The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Adnan Faihan Al-Dulaimi, offered his condolences today to the Bani Rikab tribe on the passing of Sheikh Lahmoud Shalaka Al-Mazal.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Faihan expressed his sorrow in a statement, saying, “With hearts filled with sorrow, yet with faith in God’s will and decree, we received the news of the passing of the late Sheikh Lamhoud Mzaal Al Hamida Al-Rikabi, leader of the Bani Rikab tribe in Iraq, may God have mercy on him. His life was filled with national, social, and humanitarian contributions, leaving a positive impact on the members of his community and a prominent presence in his social and tribal circles.”

He continued, “With this great loss, we extend our sincerest condolences and deepest sympathies to the family of the deceased, his relatives, and all members of the Bani Rikab tribe.” Faihan concluded his statement with a prayer, “We ask God Almighty to envelop him in His vast mercy and forgiveness, and to grant him a spacious place in Paradise.” He also prayed for patience and steadfastness for the family and loved ones of the deceased, hoping their contributions and stances would be recognized as good deeds.
