Baghdad: The city of Baquba, the capital of Diyala Governorate, witnessed a demonstration today by families of martyrs and those wounded in terrorist operations, demanding a resolution to the issue of distributing residential land plots according to legal entitlements.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the demonstrators gathered in front of the Diyala Governorate building in central Baquba. They called on the relevant authorities to finalize the procedures related to the long-standing issue of distributing residential land plots without resolution. The demonstrators warned that they would resort to escalating measures and organize peaceful sit-ins if their legitimate demands were ignored.
