Kirkuk: Two farmers were subjected to an armed attack north of Kirkuk on Thursday evening. Armed men wearing military uniforms targeted the farmers between the villages of Bibany and Zardak in the Shwan district.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the attack resulted in one farmer being shot in the head, leading to his immediate transfer to the hospital for medical treatment. The condition of the injured farmer is currently unknown. The second farmer’s fate remains uncertain, with indications that the gunmen might have kidnapped him.
