The First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Adnan Faihan al-Dulaimi, commemorated the genocide committed by ISIS terrorist gangs against the Yazidi community in Sinjar, emphasizing that it represents a national milestone for renewing the commitment to protecting Iraq's diversity and rejecting all forms of extremism and violence.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a statement on the occasion, Faihan said: "The crime of August 3, 2014, was a systematic attempt to target an integral component of Iraqi society." He stressed that achieving justice for the victims requires revealing the fate of the missing, holding the perpetrators accountable, and establishing justice that does not expire with time.

He added: "Commemorating this tragedy should strengthen the unity of Iraqis and social peace, ensuring that such crimes are never repeated."
