Baghdad: The Federal Police Forces Command of Iraq has successfully detained nine individuals and confiscated several unlicensed weapons in operations carried out in the governorates of Baghdad and Maysan.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Federal Police Forces Command announced that their operations were part of a broader security initiative, which involved executing arrest warrants issued by the competent courts. These efforts were aimed at apprehending individuals wanted by the judiciary for various charges including theft, fighting, not carrying identification documents, and execution. The arrests occurred in notable areas such as Al-Amiriya and Taji Beach in Baghdad, and the Al-Askari neighborhood in Maysan Governorate.
In addition to the arrests, the police conducted thorough searches for unlicensed weapons in the Al-Baladiyat and Al-Mashtel districts of Baghdad. These searches led to the discovery of two Kalashnikov rifles, an ammunition store, and other unspecified materials. The statemen
