Maysan: A security source announced the martyrdom of a Federal Police Captain after being shot by unknown gunmen in an area north of Maysan Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the source informed that gunmen opened fire on the officer, killing him instantly. Security forces have begun an investigation into the incident to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
