Baghdad: The commander of the Federal Police Forces is actively overseeing preparations for the Arbaeen pilgrimage from the Law Enforcement Command. Federal Police Commander Lieutenant General Mohammed Qasim al-Fahd visited the Law Enforcement Command headquarters on Monday to ensure all measures are in place.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command issued a press release stating that upon his arrival, Lieutenant General al-Fahd convened a security conference. During the meeting, the Law Enforcement Commander provided an extensive briefing on the readiness and deployment strategies of the units as part of the organizational and coordination plan for the Arba’een pilgrimage of Imam Hussein.

Al-Fahd stressed the necessity of maintaining the highest levels of readiness and vigilance. He highlighted the importance of monitoring the field situation to guarantee the optimal execution of tasks and duties. Furthermore, he urged the strengthening of coordination and cooperation with various security agencies, service organizations, and Husseini processions to ensure a safe environment for all pilgrims.
