Baghdad:A member of the Ministry of Interior’s Federal Police and his wife were found dead inside their home in the Al-Dora district, south of Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the couple was killed by gunfire. The incident came to light when emergency police patrols responded to gunshots heard from a house in the ‘Street 60’ area of Al-Dora.

Upon arrival, the police discovered the bodies of the Federal Police member and his wife. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident.
