Rio de janeiro: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held talks with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, on bilateral relations, regional developments, and negotiations related to Iran’s nuclear program.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, sources at the Turkish Foreign Ministry reported that during his meeting with Araghchi last night on the sidelines of the BRICS summit hosted by Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Fidan affirmed Turkey’s support for all efforts aimed at resolving outstanding regional issues through diplomatic means.

Turkish Foreign Ministry sources indicated that Fidan and Araghchi also discussed the course of negotiations related to Iran’s nuclear program in detail.
