Hilla: A large fire broke out early Monday morning in a showroom and warehouse for wooden furniture on Abu al-Qasim Street in central Hilla, the capital of Babylon Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Civil Defense Media Director Aqeel Abdullah stated that Civil Defense teams were able to extinguish the fire without any injuries. He added that the police have opened an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
