Marrakesh: Media reports indicated that a massive fire broke out at the hotel owned by Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the fire erupted in one of the hotel rooms located on Menara Street in the Gueliz district of Marrakesh. Preliminary information suggested that the fire caused panic among the guests of the 4-star hotel. Civil defense personnel intervened swiftly and managed to control the flames, preventing them from spreading to the rest of the hotel.
No casualties or injuries were recorded among guests or staff, while the losses were limited to material damage to the hotel’s facilities. The damage affected the suite where the fire originated, as well as part of the suite above it on the third floor. Some equipment in the restaurant on the ground floor was also damaged.
