Baghdad: A security source announced the outbreak of a fire at Baghdad International Airport, near the International Coalition’s Victoria Base.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the fire broke out in a warehouse containing various abandoned and used materials due to an electrical short circuit and spread to the sanitary landfill and nearby waste. It is now being brought under control.
