Karbala: Civil Defense Directorate teams successfully extinguished a fire that erupted in the laundry room located at the top of a hotel in the old city center near the Imam Hussein Shrine. The quick response of the teams helped prevent the fire from spreading further in the densely populated area.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Directorate revealed that a forensic expert was called to the scene immediately. The expert’s role is to determine the cause of the fire and ensure the safety of citizens and nearby properties.
