Basra: Defense teams successfully extinguished a fire that erupted in a commercial building located in central Basra. The incident involved a structure that consists of two floors, with the first floor containing shops and the second floor functioning as a warehouse.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Civil Defense media reported that the building had violated safety and security requirements, leading to its closure seven days prior, as mandated by the Civil Defense Law No. 44 of 2013.
