First Lieutenant Hassan Khudair Martyred in Kirkuk Clashes

Kirkuk: The Counter-Terrorism Service mourns the loss of First Lieutenant Hassan Khudair, who was martyred during recent clashes with ISIS in the Kirkuk Governorate. Lieutenant General Karim al-Tamimi, head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, announced the martyrdom of First Lieutenant Hassan Khudair Zughair while he was performing his duty in defense of Iraq.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Lieutenant General Al-Tamimi began his statement by quoting a verse from the Holy Quran, emphasizing the sacrifice of believers who remain true to their covenant. Al-Tamimi expressed his sorrow and grief, sharing the loss with the Iraqi people and highlighting the honor First Lieutenant Zughair achieved in his martyrdom while combating ISIS terrorist groups.

Lieutenant General Al-Tamimi reiterated the commitment of the Counter-Terrorism Service to continue their efforts to rid Iraq of terrorist elements, with the aim of establishing a safe and stable environment for all Iraqis. He concluded with prayers for the martyr, asking God Almighty for mercy upon Zughair and strength for his family and fellow soldiers during this difficult time.
