Hilla The Civil Defense in Babylon announced today, Friday, that it was able to put out a fire that broke out in five houses in Al-Akramin area in the center of Hilla, without any injuries.
Civil Defense Media Director Aqeel Abdullah said, “A fire broke out in one of the houses in Al-Akramin area in central Hilla, due to the explosion of a gas cylinder, which led to the spread of fire to neighboring houses.
He added that the civil defense teams were able to put out the fire, and that an investigation was opened into the accident to find out its causes.
