Baghdad: Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein arrived in Amman on Wednesday to participate in the Arab ministerial meeting on Jerusalem. According to Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a press release stating that Fuad Hussein reached the Jordanian capital to engage in discussions about the latest developments concerning Jerusalem and to coordinate Arab positions on issues of mutual interest. The press release further mentioned that Hussein is set to participate in discussions aimed at bolstering Arab efforts to protect Jerusalem and preserve its Arab and Islamic identity. The meeting will also address developments related to the Palestinian cause. Additionally, Fuad Hussein is expected to conduct several bilateral meetings on the sidelines with his counterparts, the Arab foreign ministers, and senior officials in Jordan. These discussions will focus on bilateral relations between Iraq and other countries, and exchanging views on prominent regional and international issues to enhance coope ration and joint coordination.
