Baghdad: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, received the credentials of several non-resident ambassadors accredited to the Republic of Iraq at the ministry’s headquarters.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ceremony included the presentation of credentials from Nguyen Long Ngoc, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Shayam Lamsal, Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana; Talat Rahimkulu Shaldunbay, Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Nepal; Ayub Khan Yunusov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan; and Mohammadi Kabore, Ambassador of Burkina Faso.

During the meeting, the Minister emphasized Iraq’s focus on strengthening bilateral relations with friendly nations and expanding areas of joint cooperation across various fields. This approach aims to serve mutual interests, with Iraqi diplomacy committed to building effective partnerships characterized by mutual respect and constructive cooperation.

The ambassadors conveyed their countries’ appreciation for Iraq and its role in the region. They also expressed a desire to bolster cooperation with Baghdad in political, economic, and cultural domains.
