Riyadh: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein, arrived today in the Saudi capital for an official visit.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the visit is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and continuing consultation and coordination between Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Upon his arrival, Fouad Hussein was received by Deputy Foreign Minister Walid bin Abdul Karim Al-Khuraiji and the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Safia Talib Al-Suhail.
Fouad Hussein is scheduled to meet his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan. The discussions will focus on enhancing relations between Iraq and Saudi Arabia and addressing regional and international developments. They will also explore the challenges facing the region and ways to support joint Arab action.
