Baghdad: The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, received the Ambassador of Austria to Iraq, Andreas Nasi, at the Ministry's building on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic duties in Iraq.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, the minister expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the Austrian ambassador during his tenure, praising his role in strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and Austria, and developing frameworks for joint cooperation in various fields of mutual interest.
The Minister emphasized Iraq's keenness to continue strengthening its relations with Austria to serve the common interests of the two countries, expressing his wishes to Ambassador Andreas Nasi for success in his future duties.
The Austrian ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation for the support and cooperation he received during his tenure in Iraq, highlighting his pride in the relations between the two countries, and appreciating the efforts made by the Iraqi government to achieve development and promote stability in various sectors.
