New York:Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein engaged in discussions with Nasser Bourita, the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, focusing on bilateral relations and economic cooperation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. The two ministers explored ways to enhance joint cooperation and reviewed scheduled events and meetings between Iraq and Morocco.

They also discussed the prospects for boosting economic and trade cooperation, including the potential export of Iraqi sulfur to Morocco, which could expand economic ties between the countries.

Regional issues of mutual interest were addressed, with both sides agreeing to maintain communication and coordinate efforts to support regional stability and security.

At the end of the meeting, Nasser Bourita invited Fuad Hussein to visit Morocco, an invitation that Hussein promised to accept at the earliest convenience.
