Baghdad: Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein held a telephone conversation Friday evening with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud. The Ministry stated in a press release that “during the call, the deep fraternal relations between Iraq and Saudi Arabia were emphasized, and views were exchanged on the latest developments in the region and matters of mutual interest.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, both sides also stressed the importance of continued communication, coordination, and consultation between the two countries, which contributes to supporting security and stability in the region and strengthening joint cooperation.
