Foreign Ministry Sends A Delegation To Follow Up Procedures For Transferring The Bodies Of 6 Tourists Died In Turkey To Iraq

Baghdad The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today, Thursday, the dispatch of a delegation to follow up the procedures for transferring the bodies of 6 Iraqi tourists who died in Turkey, to Iraq.

The ministry’s spokesman, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said in a statement: “The Iraqi embassy in Ankara sent a consular delegation to follow up on the issuance of papers related to the deceased following a bus accident carrying a number of tourists in Turkey,” noting that “the number of dead Iraqis are 6 people.”

He added, “The embassy will work to facilitate the procedures for transferring the bodies to Iraq.”
