Diyala: A security detachment from the Diyala Police arrested a foreign traveler at a border crossing northeast of Baqubah, the provincial capital of Diyala.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security detachment, supported by units from the K9 Police Dog Management and Training Department, conducted a search of travelers at the Al-Mundhiriyah border crossing. During this operation, they arrested a foreign traveler found in possession of various tablets and pills suspected of being narcotics.

Legal measures have been initiated against the traveler as authorities proceed with the investigation.
