Zurbatiyah: A foreign traveler has been arrested at the Zurbatiyah border crossing with more than half a kilogram of crystal meth. The Border Ports Authority announced the arrest, revealing that the traveler was caught attempting to smuggle 570 grams of the substance into the country.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrest was facilitated by information from the National Intelligence Service office. The Zurbatiyah border crossing Directorate, in collaboration with supporting departments and security services, successfully detained the traveler. The accused and the confiscated drugs have been handed over to the competent authorities for legal proceedings, as per a formal arrest report.
