Baghdad: Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abdul Hussein Al-Moussawi, laid the foundation stone for the British University project in Al-Jawahiri residential city in Abu Ghraib district, west of Baghdad. This significant event took place today, marking a new chapter in Iraq’s educational landscape.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Minister emphasized that the university’s establishment will adhere to British standards and programs, featuring four main colleges: Pharmacy, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, and Education. The project is designed to provide a modern educational environment, aligning with British academic programs and standards. This initiative aims to enhance higher education and equip the labor market with contemporary scientific and technical specializations.
