Karbala: The first founding conference of the heads of tribes and sheikhs of the Karbala clans was launched in the holy Karbala governorate, attended by the leader of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri Al-Maliki, and Qasim Al-Yassari, the head of the provincial council. A significant gathering of tribal leaders and sheikhs also marked their presence at the event.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the conference focused on the pivotal role of Iraqi clans in supporting the government’s strategies across various sectors, with a particular emphasis on security. Discussions highlighted the importance of enhancing coordination to empower the clans and extend their support to local governments in the governorates.
