Mosul: Four suicide attempts were recorded in separate incidents within 24 hours in the city of Mosul.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a source in the Nineveh Police announced that the province recorded four suicide attempts in different areas during the past 24 hours. The individuals involved were transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment and medical care.

The source told the Iraqi National News Agency (NINA): “Security authorities have opened reports on the incidents according to legal procedures, while the relevant authorities are continuing to follow up on the circumstances of each case in coordination with health departments.” He pointed out that “the recurrence of such incidents has prompted community demands to intensify awareness programs, provide psychological and social support, and work to reduce this phenomenon through cooperation among relevant institutions.”
