Diyala: Four foreigners have been arrested for attempting to illegally enter the Diyala Governorate, as announced by the Military Intelligence Directorate today. The arrests were part of ongoing efforts to address the issue of unauthorized foreign workers entering the country.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Military Intelligence Directorate revealed that the Intelligence and Security Department of the 23rd Commando Division conducted a strategic operation based on precise intelligence. This operation involved setting up a meticulously planned ambush aimed at intercepting individuals attempting to breach the border.

The ambush successfully led to the arrest of the four individuals who were trying to enter Iraqi territory both illegally and legally. The Directorate confirmed that the suspects have been handed over to the relevant authorities following established procedures.
