Basra: The borders of the Fourth Region and the Ports Company are working towards enhanced coordination of their administrative and security efforts. Major General Hikmat Halim Dhaya, the commander of the Fourth Border Region, recently met with Alaa Abdul-Hassan Al-Akeeli, the Director General of the General Company for Iraqi Ports, to explore strategies for improving collaboration between the two entities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the media office of the Fourth Border Region Command reported that the meeting covered several key topics and issues of mutual concern. The discussions focused on bolstering the support provided to the Command and improving the mechanisms for administrative and security coordination between the two parties.

The Director General of the company expressed a commitment to collaborating with the Fourth Border Region Command, emphasizing the company’s willingness to offer comprehensive support. This cooperation aims to strengthen the Command’s significant role in protecting and securing Iraq’s borders.
