Dunkirk: French maritime authorities announced on Friday the rescue of 94 undocumented migrants who were attempting to reach Britain from France after their boat broke down. The Grinnet Regional Operations, Surveillance and Rescue Center in northern France reported “multiple departures of migrant boats,” according to maritime authorities. It added that one of these boats, which was a few kilometers off the coast of Dunkirk, capsized and all its passengers fell into the water. “The survivors were rescued and then taken to Dunkirk to be handed over to French authorities,” the center said.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, official data reveals that at least 27 migrants have died this year while attempting to cross the French-British border. The number of migrants has risen to 36,734 since the beginning of the year up to October 21st.
