Mosul: The French Consul General in Mosul, Fabrice Desplechin, paid a visit to the College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul. During his visit, he met with the Dean of the College, Dr. Hamid Al-Rashidi, who provided an extensive presentation covering the college's academic programs, laboratories, art workshops, and experimental theater.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Consul Desplechin expressed his admiration for the college's academic and professional standards. He highlighted France's commitment to enhancing academic partnerships and exchanging expertise with French universities, aiming to develop arts programs and support talented students at the college.

Consul Desplechin emphasized that France places significant importance on cultural cooperation with Iraq. He remarked that Mosul, with its rich civilizational and cultural heritage, serves as an essential bridge for human and artistic communication between the two nations.
