Paris: French President Emmanuel Macron announced that peace in Ukraine could include the deployment of European forces there to ensure its full respect, noting that his country will gather next week the chiefs of staff of countries prepared to ensure future peace in Ukraine.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Macron warned in a speech to the French on Wednesday evening that “the Russian threat exists and knows no limits,” emphasizing that “remaining as a spectator in this dangerous world would be madness.”

Macron added that the US tariffs on Canada and Mexico, which came into effect “Tuesday,” are “incomprehensible.”

It is noteworthy that the European Union is increasingly concerned about the US position on the Russian-Ukrainian war and its initiation of negotiations with Russia to end the conflict without involving Ukraine and the European party in it.
