Baghdad: Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein received the credentials of the Palestinian Ambassador to Iraq, Samar Abdul Rahman Hussein Awadallah, in Baghdad. The Foreign Minister welcomed the Palestinian Ambassador, wishing her success in her diplomatic duties. He emphasized Iraq’s commitment to strengthening the fraternal and historical relations that bind it to the State of Palestine and supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people in various regional and international forums.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of the Palestinian leadership to the Iraqi government, expressing her appreciation for Iraq’s steadfast support for the Palestinian cause. She affirmed her commitment to consolidating cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly countries in a way that serves their common interests.
