Baghdad: Medical sources in Gaza reported that at least 14 Palestinians have been killed as a result of Israeli shelling and attacks since Friday. The sources stated, “An Israeli airstrike in the Nuseirat area resulted in the deaths of eight Palestinians and injured 20 others who were participating in the funeral procession of someone killed in a previous Israeli airstrike.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the sources added, “Twelve dead and 37 wounded have arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals since dawn on Friday, as a result of the ongoing violations by the occupation and its scattered attacks in various areas of the Strip.”

Medical sources have indicated that the number of Palestinian deaths in Gaza has exceeded 1,100 as a result of Israeli attacks since the ceasefire agreement last October. On Thursday, medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression on the Strip had risen to 73,250 dead and 173,751 wounded since October 7, 2023.
