Gaza Civil Defense: 40 Citizens Killed or Missing Under Rubble in Gaza City


Gaza city: The Palestinian Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip announced this evening, Thursday, that more than 40 people were killed or missing under the rubble of a house bombed by the Israeli army in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City. The Civil Defense stated that their crews are still working at the site of the Israeli attack on a house belonging to the Ghaboun family, with over 40 individuals remaining under the debris.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Civil Defense reported that two women have been recovered so far, and rescue efforts are ongoing under extremely difficult and dangerous conditions. Local Palestinian sources revealed that the house was home to more than 70 residents, all of whom were trapped under the rubble following the bombing.



The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Thursday that hospitals in the Gaza Strip had received ten martyrs over the past 24 hours, including one individual who was pulled from the rubble, along with 49 injuries. The Ministry explained that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews face challenges in reaching them due to extensive destruction and ongoing shelling in some areas.
