Gaza: The Gaza Health Ministry has announced a significant increase in the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. The reported figures now stand at 68,865 martyrs and 170,670 wounded, as rescue teams persist in their efforts to recover victims from the debris.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Sunday that hospitals in the area received seven bodies within the last 24 hours. This count includes three new deaths, three bodies retrieved from the rubble, and one individual who succumbed to injuries, along with six additional injuries.

The Ministry further stated that since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, there have been 236 martyrs and 600 injuries recorded. In addition, 502 bodies have been recovered from multiple locations across the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry highlighted the gravity of the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, cautioning that the health system is functioning at minimal capacity due to a severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies.
