Gaza: The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip warned on Sunday that “the Gaza hospitals will be turned into cemeteries within 48 hours from now due to the depletion of fuel.” The Director of Health in Gaza reported that “the occupation forces destroyed the electrical generators and oxygen stations in the hospitals,” emphasizing the severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Director added that “the World Health Organization trucks are stuck in Al-Arish,” urging their immediate entry into Gaza. Despite implementing emergency plans, the hospitals find themselves helpless due to the critical shortages of fuel and medical supplies. The scarcity of necessary medical equipment has also impacted the ability to perform procedures such as eye surgeries.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza previously confirmed that “30% of the victims of the Israeli bombing are children.” It stated that the Israeli bombing has incapacitated the three main hospitals in Gaza, further stressing that “starvation is one of the methods of war adopted by Israel.”
