Baghdad: Gold prices fell on Wednesday as the dollar strengthened and investors took profits after recent gains. Spot gold fell 0.3% to $4,924.89 an ounce, after rising 3.1% earlier in the session.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, US gold futures for April delivery rose 0.3% to $4,950.80. Among other precious metals, spot silver rose 1.3% to $86.08 an ounce on Wednesday. Platinum gained 0.6% to $2,221.76 an ounce, and palladium climbed 1.3% to $1,756.18.
