Baghdad: The Government Media Cell underscored the significance of presenting a unified message and enhancing the speed of response to events during its first meeting following its restructuring. The meeting was chaired by Abdul Zahra al-Hindawi, Director of the Prime Minister’s Media Office, and attended by the official spokesperson for the Iraqi government, along with members of media offices from various ministries. The discussions focused on improving government media performance and strengthening coordination in addressing public interest issues.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the head of the cell highlighted the crucial role of government media in shaping public opinion. Beyond reporting activities and news, government media is responsible for clarifying policies and decisions, emphasizing their impact on citizens, and fostering trust between state institutions and the public. The necessity of a cohesive government media message was emphasized to ensure clarity and consistency, while minimizing conflicting information.
